Water which is too pure has no fish

ಅತಿ ಶುದ್ಧವಾದ
ನೀರಿನಲ್ಲಿ
ಮೀನುಗಳು
ವಾಸಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ

ಮರದ ಸದ್ದು

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it,
Does the falling tree still makes a sound?

ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲೊಂದು ಮರ ಬಿದ್ದು
ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲು
ಅಲ್ಯಾರೂ ಇರದಿದ್ದಾಗ
ಬಿದ್ದ ಮರ
ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡುವುದೇ?

ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂದರಿತಾಗ
ಯಾವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ
ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಹೆದರದಿದ್ದಾಗ
ಏನನ್ನು ಬೇಕಾದರೂ ಸಾಧಿಸಬಹುದು

ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ ಆಗಸ
ಹುಲ್ಲ ಮೇಲಿನ
ಮಂಜಿನ ಹನಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ
ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿದೆ

ಹೂವು – ಕಳೆ

A flower falls even though we love it,
Weed grows even though we do not love it.

ಬೇಕೆನ್ನುವ ಹೂವು
ಬಾಡಿ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮಣ್ಣ ಸೇರುತ್ತದೆ
ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೂ ಕಳೆ
ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ
